Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine
Traditional Chinese Medicine
(TCM) developed over 2500 years ago into a complete healing system. It was
designed to treat physical, mental, emotional problems by finding the
underlying causes and treating the whole person. Many techniques are used in
Chinese Medicine to treat your overall health.
Acupuncture is used in TCM where
fine needles are used to stimulate powerful energetic points in your body,
bringing you back to a point of balance. Cupping, another technique, places
glass cups onto your body to draw out toxins and stagnated energy, freeing your
body, mind and emotions.
In TCM, herbal medicines are also
used to help changes your internal energies for deep healing changes to occur
from within.
Naturopathy
Naturopathyadopts a holistic
approach to health and healing by treating both the underlying causes of
illness and the presenting symptoms. One of the many important naturopathic
aims is to educate, empower and support you so that you can take a more active
role in your own health care. By helping you adopt a healthy attitude and diet,
you are guided to build a lifestyle that supports you and your family’s health
and wellbeing.
Naturopathy incorporates herbal medicine, nutritional medicine, food
as medicine, diet and lifestyle counselling and flower essences to improve
